Mini Series: The Wanda Series.

This is a mini series called "The Wanda Series". It's mini because there aren't that many photos, and close to being randomly taken. These photos were taken for a French project to replicate Robert Doisneau's photograph called "Wanda". The photo consists of a woman as a star of her show performing for many men. The photo shows two sides; the inside of the club and the outside on the streets of a city. Two subjects include the woman inside the club and the dog close to the entrance of it. I'm not sure if there are any symbols concerning the woman or the dog, but if so, it's interesting, because I like symbolism and analyzing pieces of work.

However, my replication is not included in the series. These are just interesting photos taken in the attempts at replicating "Wanda". Overall, they're outtakes, but we (my brother and I) captured interesting photos in the dark, which are hard to attempt because we used a digital camera (RGBRGBRGB PIXELS.).

The ones that have a woman in them, are me. The others are my brother, Tomi.

I really liked this photo. The contrast of white and black, and the hint of the blue dress are prominent. The shadows shape the figure nicely, and make it more visible.

What I particularly liked about this photo was the shadow of the arm blending in with the arm itself. It almost seems like the shadow is connected to the body, kind of like a ghost. To me anyway.

Tomi says hello! :)

Again, shadows and slight contrast. Notice how I try to hide my head in almost all the photos in the series.

Eerie, huh?
